Cookie Policy
The Hungarian text governs. This is a translation for convenience.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores. Some are needed for the service to work at all; others serve convenience or measurement.
2. What this platform sets
This list reflects how the system actually behaves.
Strictly necessary
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| session cookie (Auth.js) | keeps you signed in | for the session |
NEXT_LOCALE | remembers the language you chose | 1 year |
ch_org | the organisation selected in the portal | for the session |
ch-density | compact or comfortable interface | 1 year |
These are needed to provide the service, so they do not require consent.
Staff use only
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
carbonhost-impersonate | entering a customer view for support | 1 hour |
carbonhost-impersonate-session | the logged session that goes with it | 1 hour |
These exist only in an administrator account, and every such session is logged.
Referral programme
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
ch_ref | remembers which referrer brought you | 30 days |
Created when you arrive through a referral link. This cookie is not strictly necessary: it exists to account for referral commission, and scripts running in the browser can read it. It is not created if you do not arrive through a referral link.
3. Third-party cookies
The platform uses no advertising or web-analytics service and embeds no third-party tracking code.
4. Managing cookies
You can view and delete stored cookies, or block them, in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents sign-in and some portal features from working.

If you allowed the referral cookie earlier, you can withdraw that here at any time. After withdrawing, no referral is recorded at a later registration.
